PRESENTATION

N Rotterdam, Desiderius Erasmus was a humanist and a writer (1467-1536).

Symbol of the cosmopolitan intellectual, Erasmus has traveled extensively; in Europe, especially in England and Italy.

The Erasmus program lives up to its name: the first major European program in the field of higher education, Erasmus, has known, since 1987, when it was launched, an ever-growing success.
Today, the whole universities in France participate in it as well as most higher education establishments.
Estudents and teachers are the main beneficiaries of Erasmus activities.

Erasmus: promote and strengthen quality and the European dimension of higher education
With ERASMUS, students can carry out part of their studies in another European institution, for a minimum of 3 months or a maximum of 1 year. The studies thus carried out outside France, without additional registration fees being required by the partner institution are recognized and taken into account, for obtaining the diploma in France. , by the CEESO, in particular thanks to the ECTS credit system & nbsp; and to the study contract that an Erasmus student signs before leaving with the two institutions concerned. & nbsp;

Objectifs:

  • To encourage multilateral cooperation between recognized European higher education establishments.
  • Support mobility of higher education students and teachers through transparency and academic recognition of higher education and qualifications in the European Union.
  • Stimulate pedagogical research between universities, university or scientific associations and professional organizations, on topics related to this; one or more disciplines or questions of common interest.
